Millions of businesses and individuals are competing for visibility in search engines, and many of them are writing what is, subjectively, “good” content. But what makes that content “good”? SEO can be quite complicated, but you can absolutely develop a keyword strategy and take care of the essentials on your own. A general rule of thumb: If you have links in a menu at the top of the page, avoid duplicating those same links on the bottom of every page. Linking to the same page in the footer creates a hole for the link juice to seep out. Your homepage is the most important and likely your strongest webpage. The link power (AKA link juice) is distributed from the homepage to all other subpages. Ideally, you should distribute the link juice evenly to all other subpages through internal links and easy navigation menus.

Be certain to use your long-tail search terms

Every time a search engine finds your website next to your competitors, it tells them that your company is in a related niche. While building a better search engine optimization strategy, having a description tag that is efficient is a good way to bring searchers to your website. The content in this area shouldn’t exceed 30 words. Never exceed 100 kilobytes on this sort of page. What factors do you need to bear in mind? Does keyword usage still apply? The direction that you take to improve the visibility of your site on the web should be decided upon by analysing the current state of your website, the audience you are targeting, your business objectives and any previous SEO work that has been carried out.

Is there a further shift towards user focussed factors?

A cornerstone of effective SEO is producing quality content, and understandably, that can be difficult for marketers or business owners busy with other things. There are 54,907 searches per second on Google alone. There are about 5 billion searches per day on Google. It's extremely likely that thousands of these searches are exactly for the things that you have to offer. Once you know your goals, you should be able at least to decide on a balance between “head” keywords and “long-tail” keywords. Anyone who is commenting on the blog will leave a backlink, which means, backlinking is a mode to drive traffic. Make sure, you are not commenting a random one, as it will serve you no good. The comments should be relevant and in that context only.

Be very sure of what you are writing

Understanding what your customers and users want to learn and know is exactly how you should be developing your SEO strategy. Just like writing any great content, you need to know your targeted audience pretty well in order to be successful. These are the people you know will be most interested in your service or product and will most likely convert into sales. Producing quality video content is the first step, but without a solid marketing campaign in place, you’ll find it harder to get ranked on SERPs. Boost search engine rankings

Longer sentences are hard to follow onscreen. When possible, break longer sentences into multiple shorter sentences. Craft some content ideas (focusing on competitive keywords) and get in touch with the editors or the person who's responsible for guest contributions. Ask them if they’re interested in your content ideas. Smart content improves the effectiveness and ROI of the material produced by making itself more discoverable and consumable. The well-publicised Panda and Penguin updates have had a significant (and in my view, positive) impact on the discipline of SEO.
